MC_D-LINKDAP-1360

The D-Link DAP-1360 Access Point uses open source firmware (a Linux). This allows users to add custom functions at will using the SDK available on request (free of charge). The 2MB Flash memory and 16MB SDRAM memory allow you to store and run the most varied programs to add functions to this access point.

Powered by wireless technology compliant with the IEEE 802.11n standard, the DAP-1360 access point offers faster wireless connection and better reception than 802.11g devices. With these, reception will also be improved but less than when used with other adapters / routers or laptops to the 802.11n standard.

The DAP-1360 is easy to install

Using the D-Link Click ‘n Connect (DCC) wizard, the wireless network is set up in minutes. This program configures the operation of the access point, makes it easy to add new wireless devices to the network, and helps the user to create a wireless network.

A scheduling feature even lets you turn off the wireless network at certain times to save power or secure the network.

The DAP-1360 is versatile and versatile

The DAP-1360 is in many situations, as a basic access point or as an advanced client for community sharing of a high speed Internet connection. It can indeed be configured to function as:

Workgroup Bridge to connect two wireless workgroups, two different networks

workgroup bridge with access point (bridge with access point) to serve as wireless hub and bridge at the same time

repeater to extend wireless coverage to certain black holes in the network (dead zones) or to extend the signal of a box for example

Client route Client router WISP (Wireless Internet Service Provider) in order to share a single Internet connection between several wired computers without adding an additional router (only one box)

repeater WISP (Wireless Internet Service Provider) Repeater Mode) to share a Wi-Fi Internet connection between several wired or wireless computers, without adding an additional router
